So, the con went rather well. Kate and I arrived on Friday morning around 6am where we joined the mass of people waiting in line to get in. Thankfully we didn't have a major wait once we got inside around 8:30am. We got checked in quickly and shuffled our way down into the Artists Alley where we pretty much spent most of the the entire weekend.
Considering we had no idea what items would sell, we did rather well for a couple of newbies. Our big seller were our buttons that featured dangos as well as some anti-drug slogans. The 'Go Cry Emo Kid' and 'Yaoi My Anti-Drug' buttons sold the best which isn't much of a surprise. We did sell some CDs and comics, though, which made us rather happy. We're looking forward to being there next year.
All in all, there wasn't much drama for us during the weekend. ... >>full

The first chapter of Animal Faith is now available in our shop! My wife and I worked pretty hard on this and we would love it if you would check it out. Also, the price for The System is Down has been lowered to $6.00 on CDbaby. Remember, you can buy stuff from us directly if you're going to be at Otakon next week! Just come visit as at table G9 in the artists alley. We hope to see you there!
Lots of things are going on at BS/OD but here's a list of our plans for the next 6 months or so.
1. The web comic will continue to run 3 days a week. 2. The first issue of Animal Faith will be finished and printed by the beginning of August. 3. A new album will be finished by the first of the year. It'll most likely be an EP.
Those are the main three objects that we have going right now but there might be other little tidbits that pop up here and there.
BS/OD Swag is now available over at Zazzle! For multiple different reasons, I decided to leave Cafepress and set up a shop at Zazzle.com . You can find the propper link over in the Shop section.
So, things are going pretty well these days. I've finally started getting some momentum with the different projects I'm working on. I have the webcomic, a comic that will be put out in print, my next album, 3D art and a handful of other projects. Soon I hope to have a new store opened up with some new t-shirts, buttons and stickers.
On the convention front, we are confirmed for both Otakon and Anime USA. It looks like those will be the only two conventions we're doing this year but I plan on making the most of it. There are a lot of new things that will be in the works for these shows. So, please check us out if you are in attendance!
